Celebrating 10 Years!

Bryan and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary on August 9th. We planned a little getaway to a Treehouse cabin in Natural Bridge State Park to celebrate. We also had a few fun stops throughout the weekend. We dropped the boys off to Nana and Pop on Thursday evening. Then I packed all of our food for the trip and Friday morning we set off to the eastern part of the state.
On our way to Natural Bridge State Park,
we stopped at Wild Turkey Distillery.
Bryan and I are trying to visit all 8 of the distilleries on the Bourbon Trail.
We ate lunch at Bourbon n' Toulouse. This is a wonderful hole in the wall restaurant that has a gluten-fee menu in Lexington, KY.
We also picked up some juice from The Weekly Juicery.

Then we headed to the Treehouse. This was a perfectly rustic little cabin. It took a small hike up the side of a mountain to get to it and once you were there, you were alone and completely surrounded by trees.

On Saturday, before the rains moved in, we took the sky lift up to the Natural Bridge.
After a morning of exploring, and as we headed back down on the sky lift, the raindrops started to fall. So we decided to head back into Lexington to enjoy an afternoon at Town Branch Distillery.

Back at the cabin, we grilled steaks, watched Lincoln, and ruminated on our last 10 years of marriage.

We couldn't have asked for a better weekend!
