Preschool at Home: Week 18

Last week we learned about the letters "U" and "V." There was not a nursery rhyme, but our Bible story was Jesus healing the paralyzed man.
It was a low key week.
Here's a look at our board:

We made a "U" umbrella and played a bit with our real umbrella.
I asked Seth to pick his favorite book of the week.
The Underwear Book by Todd Parr was the winner. It was pretty cute!
We made a volcano with v's flowing out of it.
We also watched a few YouTube videos of volcanoes.

We made a "V" book. Seth was so proud of this that he carried it
around for a couple of days and wanted to read it to everyone.

We also practiced writing the letter "V" on little bits of paper.
Then he vacuumed all the small pieces of paper off of the floor.
This week we are celebrating our country's birthday.
Next week we'll be learning about the letters "W" and "X."
