Preschool Co-op: Apples

Yesterday, we met with our co-op group to learn about apples.
We decided Jackson's Orchard would be the best place for some apple fun and learning.
I read The Apple Orchard Riddle by Margaret McNamara to the kids.
Then we cut open an apple to see the star inside (just like in the book).
Lara brought paper apples with the alphabet on them that
the kids got to pick off of a tree and practice naming.
Emily brought paint for the kids to do apple printing with apples cut in half.
Then we played on the Cider Slider, the play area, and ate lunch.
We also sipped on cider slushes (minus Charlie who had already left).
Then after all of our friends left we visited the goats,
 played with rubber ducks,
and took a look around the Orchard store.
  We had a fun morning!
