We have several varieties of tomatoes growing in the garden, but one of the the new heirlooms we're growing this year, is the Persimmon tomato. It's an orange/golden yellow tomato. It took me a few tries before I picked it at the perfect ripeness. The persimmon color was throwing me off a little I guess. It's not too juicy or too seedy. When it's ripe, it's a mighty fine tomato.
