A Weekend in Jackson

This past weekend we made our first trip to Jackson as a family of four. It was nice to be able to see family and we had lots of fun enjoying a few outings. We went to a car show where The Father's Four (my dad is the third one from the left) were singing and all the proceeds from the event benefited Special Needs Athletics, an organization started by my little brother.

Speaking of my brother, we got to meet his new girlfriend, Kristen. :)

We also went to play putt-putt. Playing mini golf with a two year old is very interesting. It involves lots of running...

avoiding water...and putting the ball in the hole (without the putter).After a short two year old tantrum,
we moved on to picking out a pumpkin with both sets of grandparents.
After ice cream and a delicious meal at our favorite Mexican restaurant, we spent the rest of the weekend hanging out with family.
